Edgware Road Partnership

Art in Marylebone photography competition

Edgware Road Partnership sponsored a special category in the annual Art Marylebone photography competition.

The competition, which ran from 18 April to 1 May 2014, was open to everyone, with free entry. The organisers asked photographers to capture any view in and around Marylebone and Edgware Road, with up to five photographs submitted by each entrant.

Images were sought that evoked the people, landscape, scenes, or any detail of daily life in the Marylebone and Edgware Road areas.

50 images were selected by independent judges, published in a commemorative hard back book, and exhibited in the “Life in Marylebone” exhibition at the Hellenic Centre in Paddington Street, Marylebone, during the Summer Fayre in June 2014.

A special prize saw the winning Edgware Road entries produced into a postcard series, sponsored by Edgware Road Partnership. Judging the entries for Edgware Road Partnership was professional photographer Sabera Bham.
